We are once again offering our families an online option for school supplies through School Start. There is no pressure to purchase online if you would prefer to purchase in a store; the supply lists are listed below.
ALL SUPPLIES ON THE LISTS BELOW (and on the website) ARE REQUIRED NEXT YEAR. If you are ordering online and want to reuse some of your current supplies, you can remove them from the order to make it cheaper. Please note that there is a small delivery charge with online orders.
Note: Kindergarten school supplies can be purchased in the fall from the teachers.

The staff at Shortreed Elementary School are excited to offer the opportunity to purchase quality standardized school supplies through School Start for the 2024/2024 school year. This is AN OPTION for you that can save you time.
WHAT THE ORDER LOOKS LIKE:
- Starter – required, consumable items
- Additional – still required, but you may have already and can reuse
3 WAYS TO ORDER:
- ONLINE: You can place your order online at the School Start Shortreed page. The School Start website is best compatible with Firefox or Chrome.
- PHONE: You can call our customer service centre at 1-800-580-1868 to place your order over the phone.
The supplies will be packaged and delivered directly to the school in August before your child arrives, labelled with their name on the School Start Package. Please note that there is a delivery charge for online orders.
*Any orders placed after July 31st, will be delivered to your home.
