Welcome to Shortreed Community School!

We are a designated community school, which means that we enjoy a strong connection to our diverse Aldergrove community. Shortreed has a long history of a collaborative environment of adults working together to deliver quality education to the young people in the area.  More recently, our focus on self-regulation has helped many of our students to stay “calm, alert and ready to learn”.

As a principal, I believe in a strengths-based approach to education. This means that EVERY child and adult in our building comes with character strengths and talents that we can build upon to help them with success and struggle in our school and beyond.
